Might be a two-parter bug.
On the indicator-session side, we need to handle "challenge" as a
response to CanSuspend / CanHibernate calls and, when calling
suspend/hibernate, allow interactivity. This is in the fix-suspend-on-u8
branch.
Even after this is done, u8's challenge prompt is the lockscr
The suggestion was made to add a accountsservice file for it like:
echo -e "[User]\nSystemAccount=true" >
/var/lib/AccountsService/users/libvirt-qemu
I agree this might be an option - and I might even be forced to take it at some
point, but then I ask myself for how many extra Desktop envs/servi
