Well, the good news is I've been doing lots of testing an optimization
to try and make Mir super-smooth on old netbooks (and hence everything).
Good progress so far, but if you want to test it you'll need to install
vivid (Ubuntu 15.04).

Has this bug regressed since 2011? My battery indicator shows a red-
with-a-little-left icon, when I have 1h10min of battery left (so
definitely over 30min). The percentage is at 22%. (on ubuntu 14.10)

Also, please keep e.g. laptop use in mind when designing this. I'm currently on

I too would like to be able to adjust the "urgent_animation" duration.
Personally I would prefer it to stay animating until it received focus.

This is a serious problem for the native citrix ICA client. If a citrix
session opens a PowerFuse or windows screen the bottom bar with the
start button is only partly visible. It makes many citrix tasks
impossible in unity.
