I absolutely agree with the problem report. My suggested solution was
to roll the icons and keep the focus smack in the middle instead of
moving focus from left to right -> bug 1291790 . Currently, window
selection is pretty horrendous and inefficient.

try to rename a file or folder, or try to send anything to the trash bin
from desktop, the keyboard not responds.

I used the PPA and upgraded bamf. This solved the problem and Unity
isn't removed when uninstalling webbrowser-app but as you mentioned in
comment #6 the webapps are dead.
