I came across the link here and decided to write to you, as I am

With the above linux, I have recompiled the kernel and booting the
image with a vme_user.bus=0 vme_tsi14
Added a guaranteed null-terminate after call to strncpy.
This was partly found using a static code analysis program called cppcheck.
