Without the vga= option the integrated screen becomes colorfully vertical
lined and the mouse appears as pixel-soup-box. The external screen does however

Up to now (5 reboots), with patch in comment 8 plus patch in comment 20 there
is NO flickering.

The changes in that patch should only affect those regs I asked you to dump,
but they are the same before and after. Can you attach the output of:
avivotool regs all
before and after?

seems to be stable for me. The last days i had no more flickering and no black
screens.
