ok i tried it and surprisingly it does not help. I have flicker, but i don't
get the ELD messages.
Note I also use video=HDMI-A-1:640x480 for the kernel to get a usable
resolution in the text console.

Function vga_switcheroo_init_domain_pm_optimus_hdmi_audio() is used in
sound/pci/hda/hda_intel.c. So that driver has same problem and cause kernel
panic on driver unload.

Well 2 years later things have changed. That set of HW died and I got a 2nd
hand Acer box with an Intel 2 core chip. it's a bit old so I upped the RAM to
4gig DDR2 and put in my HD6450 and it works really good, st
