I'm a gstreamer developer and is trying to implement a video display plugin
based on DRM/KMS which is named "kmssink".
I met a problem that the kmssink will have permission issue when running with
x11 and wayland. Because these two window system will hold DRM-Master in their

Getting Dell Precision 3620 systems with an Intel Skylake system
i7-6700K, and an external AMD graphics card, the X.Org server does not
start and hits an assert. The software stack is Linux 4.9.38 and 4.12.5,
X.Org server 1.19.3 and xf86-video-amdgpu 1.3.0.

I managed to make it work by compiling latest 4.13.0-rc2+ from there:
git://people.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linux. I used the 'drm-next-4.14-wip'
