Other than bisecting the kernel, I don't have any more good ideas for figuring

I don't really see how the frame rate could have been higher than the refresh
rate if vsync was enabled unless there was a bug in the vsync code in older
kernels.

Here's my theory on what's happening:
On suspend, all BOs located in VRAM are evicted to GTT using
radeon_bo_evict_vram() -> ttm_bo_evict_mm(). There's no mechanism to explicitly

Regarding VT switching: When I press Ctrl+Alt+F1 after plugging in I do get a
picture again on the internal LCD.. when I then press Ctrl+Alt+F7 I am even
