I think this one is well knows, have you tried disabling writeback with no_wb=1
as radeon module parameter?
Also note that gears is _not_ a benchmark.

yep passing radeon.no_wb=1 to the kernel fixes it
@glxgears i kinda expected that but i don't think im using it for one...
im just trying to show the difference between reported and apparent

Only fallback to a set of default modes on a connector iff that
connector is known to be connected. The issue occurs that with limited
hardware which cannot probe a connector and so reports the
connector status as unknown will then attempt to retrieve the modes for
it during drm_helper_probe_single

I have failed to reproduce the one locku
kref_init(handlecount) initialises the number of handles to 1 upon
creation when it should remain 0 until the first allocation. All the
drivers were working around this by deleting the extra count when they
created the first handle for the object in spite of the documentation
saying that it was une

I back up settings and try to start with clean folder '.nexuiz'. It does not
help. Desktop resolution is 1920x1080. Game sets 1024x768.
