Yes, it's probably something similar. I tried the reorder shader constants
patch, but it didn't make any difference (and introduced other bugs as you
mentioned)

This is probably Wine bug 25696 / 34052. Read
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34052#c42 for an explanation of that
bug (essentially, the vertex shader reads out of bounds of a uniform array).
