Oh, Option "EXAPixmaps" "false" seems to fix/workaround most of the problems.
Still seeing some corruption while right-scrolling the tvbrowser app, but
everything else seems clean.

A couple of new data points:
Option "NoAccel" "true" shows no corruption.
Reverting to an older known good radeon driver version, but on this newer xorg
stack still shows corruption.

The connector's dpms fxn is only triggered by userspace. When the
driver is loaded and detected displays configured, drm core only
calls the crtc and encoder's dpms functions.

More info about this bug: I have both kernel 3.1.0 and 3.2.0-rc4 installed
right now (compiled from kernel.org). I had 3.2.0-rc3 installed, before moving
to rc4 to test if the bug

I'm seeing similar corruption with tvbrowser, however I cant make it 'stick'.
It corrupts only during the scrolling, and as mentioned, only when scolling
sideways to the right. I do howev
