uploading compressed textures.

As a rough indicator for now: 2.6.35 rc3 resumes (from ram suspend) OK and
2.6.35 rc4 hangs on resume with the atombios 'stuck in loop' messages. This was
lucky since 2.6.35 rc1 and rc2
