Hi Velko,
I recently hit the same problem.
You have to add raw storage driver to your compile options, meaning
"--with-storages=maildir,mbox,dbox,raw,cydir", that will do the trick.
Maybe it would be good to update the description of available storage drivers
in configure script.

Hi all,
actually I got a problem with the namespaces in dovecot 1.1 beta11. It occured
after purging index files and resynch via imapsync. Dovecot complains about
"Unknown namespace", though it worked with versions before. I cannot comfirm
for 1.1beta10, but I surely know 1.1beta9 worked with t
or both "/" (--sep1 /, --sep2 /), I just played with
all possibilities...
Well, never mind if v1.2 or v2.0, as long as LMTP makes it in ;) Anyway, we can
provide some good stress testing in such an environment...
Regards and for all Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Sebastian

It seems that the output to the client doesn't correspond to the settings
dovecot uses internally?!

Hi all,
I'm very excited to see lmtp in dovecot now. Starting to play, I encountered
following problem:
With senders in normal mail address format, everything is delivered right, lmtp
works as expected. But with 8bitmime senders, like kernel mailing list, lmtp
returns a 5.5.4 not supported and
Hi all,
and while trying to get some environmental stuff via dovecot -n, I got a

Hi,
I had some problems connecting TB 2.x with dovecot 2.0. TB2 complained about
not being an IMAP4 server. TB 3 worked.
It seems that dovecot 2.0 doesn't return capabilities when queried. Maybe some
wrong config, thoug?
Here are the debug logs from TB2 comparing dovecot 2.0 (not working) and
I was more thinking about thousands of servers, not clients. Each server should
contribute to the amount of storage you have. Buying huge storages is more
expensive. Also it would be nice if you could just keep plugging in more
servers to get more storage space, disk I/O and CPU and the system w
