Hi All
I’m planing to upgrade/migrate my dovecot cluster with two dovecot 2.2.36 nodes
to 2.3.16.
They use Maildir als IMAP backend and will continue to use that in the future.
Can I just:
- Install a new Server (AlmaLinux 9)
- Stop dovecot on the old node-2
- Copy all the data from the old mail

I have IOS 18.1 and now the 18.3 updated arrived (somehow it skipped 18.2 on my
phone).
However, I put the update on hold as long as this weird mail issue after
updating exists…

I avoid migrating to a new major version so fast. I usually wait a few years
and until than solusions will have been established.
I’m currently running a rock-solid dovecot 2.2 cluster and am migrating this to
dovecot 2.3 (not 4) now. :D

GDPR is some piece of bull*it regulation made by the EU. Dovecot
