When a user in thunderbird toggles some flags like junk, spam or
something similar dovecot appends these flags form a-z to the end of
the file in maildir.
I have another application that also access the maildirs which gets
really upset with these flags and ignore those emails.
Are there any

Sorry for the fuzz on the thread earlier.
I now have dovecots deliver (1.1.?)up and running and delivering mails
to maildirs located on the AFS
So if anyone is wondering, I would say that AFS works as a backend for
storing emails without any ugly patches.
