We are currently running dovecot 2.2.rc3.
I am trying to 'dsync mirror' old Qpopper/mbox inboxes to our new Dovecot/mdbox
servers. For most of the several thousand accounts, it works without issue.
But there are a handful of accounts that are generating the following errors.
dsync(joe): Error
}
service managesieve-login {
inet_listener sieve {
port = 4190
}
process_min_avail = 0
service_count = 1
vsz_limit = 64 M
}
ssl = no
ssl_cert = mailto:t...@iki.fi]

I'm getting the following error on dsync mirror.
dsync(webmail): Error: Sync failed for mbox file

needed 10 bytes, now needs 12 bytes

Timo,
Any luck reproducing the sync error with the updated/correct mbox file?

Timo,
Just checking if you've had a chance to identify the problem. Yesterday I saw
a patch for multipart messages. Was this related, or a separate issue?

maintaining message UIDs. This is the easiest way to ensure no "lost"
email with the migration.
What are we doing wrong, and how do we achieve our goals?
Thanks in advance.

ecot auth system? I've been looking for
botnet rbls, but what I've found so far doesn't seem to work very well. Most
of the IPs that I've had to firewall don't exist in them.

Below is the dovecot -n output.

Anyone have any feedback, guidance or suggestions on this? Timo?

I need to backup some of the mailboxes on our system. We are currently using
mdbox with zlib compression plugin.
The backups need to be maildir without compression. How can I accomplish this
using dsync?
The following just causes each msg file in maildir to be compressed as well.
dsync -f -u
w dsync
to read the compressed mdbox accounts, but when it writes the backup in maildir
format, everything is uncompressed.
