I tried to find info about this online, but I couldn't find anything
talking specifically about what I am trying to accomplish.
I am sending and receiving the same attachments pretty often and as a
result my email accounts are growing much more rapidly than I would like.

Dovecot keeps on segfaulting on me and I am unsure why. This setup has been
running for 5 years and has given me very little trouble.
I am running Dovecot 2.1.7, setup with mdbox.
The imap process keeps on segfaulting for the same account (makes me think

I am currently testing a 2.1 dovecot setup with fts-solr. Search speed is
simply amazing. I decided to try to delete and rebuild the solr indexes,
but i can't seem to rebuild them thru dovecot.
At first, when telnetting to the imap server, the search initially built

I am getting some very weird search results with fts_solr.
1) when I do a search for "testin" I get 0 results.
2) when I do a search for "testing" i get 44 results.
The problem is that I am expecting only 1 result.

The lucene indexes get created/updated fine when I do a manual search thru
telnet.
However, if I run a webapp that uses the php::imap_search function, the
index never gets created/updated. I run indo the same problem with

I can also add that I had "top" running while doing a "doveadm index" on
800 emails; doveadm took about 15 seconds to complete and in top I never
saw lucene-indexer (or lucene-worker) appear.

I can't seem to find the time to setup an environment to test this.
Will it make it to the next release? For 'political' reasons, it's easier
for me to dist a new official release than a code patch.

Hi,
I am seeing inconsistencies in search results (finding 2 emails when only 1
exists, finding the email when it has been moved to another folder, etc).
I figured I should run force-resync to fix any issues. I ran the following:
doveadm -v force-resync -u and I got some worrysome logs.

A few days ago by dovecot installation started behaving weirdly. First it
was doveadm fts optimize which would fail (a thread running about that) and
now it's dsync, which means my backups are not working.
