New dovecot user needs installation help

Hey Everyone, So I just setup my first dovecot install with postfix running for the mail server… I can telnet into my dovecot install and login just fine with my user locally… But when I try to add the account from my phone, computer, or telnetting from my local computer, it just hangs and even
