[Dovecot] move mails from spool to users home dir(maildir formate) automatically

2012-01-25 Thread Arun Gupta
Hi, I am using dovecot 2.0.16, and assigend globally procmailrc (/etc/procmailrc) which delivers mails to user's home directory in maildir formate. Also I assined quota to User through setquota (edquota) command, If the quota excedded then this case user's mail store to /var/spool/mail/user.

Dear Sir, Thanks for your reply and I really agreed your point about 'reject mail for users over quota', but I don't want to do it if it is possible to without reject mails to deliver mails from spool to user's home directory automatically, kindly provide solution. I will be highly obliged

Hi, I configured imap quota on dovecot-2.0 with backend Maildir++, after exceeding user quota the sender receiving bounce mails, Is there any way that after exceeding user quota the mail will deliver somewhere else like user spool area? so that after increasing quota user will get the mails.

Hi, I read about Snarf plugin, it works if the mail already in spool area, but I want to know whether it is possible if users quota exceeded then instead of mail rejected it should delived to user spool area or somewhere else. Regards, Arun Gupta On Wed, 29 May 2013, Arun Gupta wrote
