Hello,
I have dovecot 1.1.1 with dovecot-sieve-1.1.5 and managesieve 0.10.3.

Hi, i have qmail + vpopmail + dovecot + squirrelmail 0.99.14 on Fedora
Core 4. Qmail includes its own pop3 server, and everybody is able to
access it from outside. Dovecot is used only locally by SquirrelMail -
so everybody can access via webmail.
I'd like to make imap directly available from
BTW, you can get free certificates from http://cacert.org (no

I was wondering if Dovecot has the ability to sort email scored by

I have not yet installed Dovecot

archmbox (perl command line tool for mboxes) is my chosen tool for that
these days. It's on the sourceforge site.

Hello All:
After all the responses I received on this post, I installed 'Vacation' as
follows:
-Download Sieve Plugin from http://www.dovecot.org/download.html into
'Desktop'.
-Compile Sieve Plugin with Dovecot:
% cd Desktop
% tar zxfv dovecot-sieve-?.?.?.tar.gz
% cd do
It looks like the build problems with the flexible array members in
Dovecot 1.1 and GCC 2.95 has been raised several times already on this
list, but no one mentioned out that autoconf 2.61+ provides a macro to
deal with these.

Hello:
1. I am new to LINUX and thus I am using only those applications which come

Do you know if Dovecot-1.1.1 works with CentOS 5.1?

to completely ignore our global sieve script no matter what we do.

Thanks for taking the time to respond Patrick.
Previously (in v1.0) we did not need the plugin section:
sieve = mailfilter.sieve
Is this now required even when just wanting to use a global sieve
script? We have ~100 users so manually adding a mailfilter.sieve file to
each users directory will be

If running in a virtual machine, say KVM, what do you propose to do
