Is there any way to pass things like "quota=" for the quota plugin to
the deliver LDA via the command line or as an environment variable or
whatever? I've got all the info I need in my MTA to avoid a userdb
lookup in the LDA, but I still have to do the userdb query to get the
per-user quota number

and I'm wondering how many connections every 100 'normal' imap users
might have/keep open? I'm wondering if I need to tweak any o/s related
things, like time_wait, etc. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I'm having trouble getting a new Postfix/Dovecot server up and running.
I'm trying to run v1.0.3, using MySQL tables setup list postfix admin.
This is a RHEL5 server.
Getting this error

We are using dovecot version 1.0.3. We have dovecot-ldap configured to
authenticate users using ldap database. We are facing the inactivity
problem with dovecot. After some hrs of successful working, dovecot logs
shows the connection inactive problem with pop3 & imap server, & it
