Here is a .deb I have used on sarge, but it seems to work fine in etch too...

That is, from localhost without any passwords.
I don't use it, but look into:

Hello,
I have a small Sieve script that tries to use vacation that segfaults.
The script is the one from http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sieve.
When I change the email address (I changed the local part into "skai"),
hence, vacation is skipped, the mail

Greetings -
I'm having trouble working out where to alter this behaviour (so
please forgive me if it turns out to be an Exim thing rather than
Dovecot!)...
My test service is using Exim as the MTA and Dovecot's "deliver" for
the LDA. We are using Maildir mailboxes with filestore quotas.

hi guys,
we are experiencing this particular problem with one of the webmail server

sendmail is being used as mta. when this user tries to login via telnet,
this is what i've got:
$ telnet localhost pop3

I'm using Dovecot 1.0.0 (mbox) with Postfix 2.4 on my FreeBSD box, as a
pop3-only server (imap is disabled). All account mailboxes are accessed using
Outlook clients.
I've noticed that, whenever I'm retrieving mail with pop3, a "DON'T DELETE THIS

Less broken than Thunderbird?
Thunderbirds IMAP support - at least on windows - seems to me
Mulberry rocks! Best email client I know of. Reminds me of how good
Eudora was when it first came out.
eh, sorry, gnus (on emacs) is probably the best. but it's too difficult
for most users.
You're arguing with yourself? ;)
I tried Mulberry after hearing about it here - and was very unimp
Hi Timo,
I'm the one who suggested the '-n' option to capture the actual config
settings that the running dovecot process was using (ala postfix), and
you implemented it very quickly - so thanks for that!
Now, I'd like to suggest an enhancement...

tried google but not much of help, they just suggested to update or replace
dovecot. i already update dovecot and made some changes to default_mail_env

dovecot version is 0.99 on a fedora 4 box
any idea?
You said you tried to update - to what version? If 1.0.0

Hi,
I just migrated a server running qmail+vpopmail+maildir to
sendmail+dovecot+maildir+vpopmail
The migrating is working great thanks to the help from the list and the
wiki.
I'm now running the infamous problem about duplicating emails, because
of pop3 UIDL mismatch.
My question is: anyone k
