They are synchronised per drbd/corosync.
Each fileserver/backend have ca. 40k mailboxes im Maildir
Hello list,
I'm trying to achieve very simple replication, but I'm not sure if I'm
starting the good way. I have two Dovecot servers that use the same
GlusterFS storage. Of course, the indexes get corrupted eventually, even
if I apply an "NFS-like" configuration. So I'd like to synchronize my

I have a failover cluster for mail server with:

It works fine with ~50k accounts. My cluster design:

Problem solved with changing the location of the home dir, however, is
there a reliable way to do this on the "master" server with all the
production data in place?

The error, I presume, is that the home folder is unable to be created in

If what I wrote is a little cryptic, I am talking about using doveadm to

Greetings,
I'm working on building a redundant Dovecot server which will be
replicated with my original. I would like to know if there's any
potential problems I could run into in running this for the first time.
For example, during an initial sync is it possible for the new server to
sync i

Actually, anyone doing replication at all - what does your config look
like ?
Thanks -

Is there no-one out there using replication with virtual users ? If
so how did you do it ?
I just *know* someone is going to point me to a
simple page describing how to do it ...

I guess what I want is for it to activate replication upon ANY

Is it possible to get replication working in a virtual user setup

- there's a single system user (vmail) that owns all the home dirs
(/var/mail/domain.com/user). The virtual users
