I did some more debugging and now I can reproduce the crash with one of the
affected mailboxes:
I made a test with telnet:

Trying 127.0.0.1...

Escape character is '^]'.

has been endet normallly. Very strange to me.
I think this is a problem only with that specific user and his Iphone.
On the other hand, the crash isn't fine at all.
