Some extra information I was able to gather:
dovecot: imap(xiste...@0x58.com)<5991><4umat4J6acYmAQKCQwG+/BBkGhFix4Sh>:
Panic: file mail-storage.c: line 1951 (mailbox_get_open_status): assertion
failed: (box->opened)
This is apparently dumped to dmesg right before the core dump happens.
