IMAP email server is maxed and I need to dump all the emails off the
IMAP to POP3 as to clear it up.
How about just moving the emails to the local folders of your favourite
mail client?

mailboxes (>10 GB, >100 mailboxes), two mailboxes (accounts) on the same
server.
I don't want to do the migration just to find out that it is general
issue of outlook vs. any IMAP server.

s dovecot ultimately passes the mail to MTA, it is much easier to
make the unauthenticated IP relay list in MTA, and submit on port 25.
Or is there something special you want doevecot to do with those mails?
