Back in early 2010, Timo posted about a potential 2.1 feature to in essence
reduce the number of imap/pop3 processes using various techniques since the
code already supports multiple connections. It even went as far as moving all
idle connections.
I don't see this on the 2.1 roadmap. Is it sti

I am wondering if I really need to use dovecot quota functions or not. Assume
for the moment, that, each system user has a quota defined using Linux quotas,
and that the Maildir is within their quota limited directory. So, any mail (or
files created by the user etc) that would exceed the quota o

Using sieve_before, can the script it references include a file from the
personal space?
I want to set some parameters (by user using the variables extension) there to
control what the before script does, so, every user would have the file in
their personal include space.
If not, is there anot

I'll try and break up my questions the other day about extdata that went
unanswered into pieces in the hopes it will be more specific and clear.
In general, I am trying to figure out the syntax of the map statement and what
is allowed in that statement. So, by map statement, I mean for example p
Does someone have an example of configuring the Pigeonhole Sieve Extdata plugin
with MySQL dict? Particularly, the map and what key might be used in this?
The doc in the wiki isn;t clear at all to me when one wants to use MySQL store.
The file in the doc folder of the mercurial repository is bas

as I can tell, the client still works (it's mine), but, the messages concern me.

Cool, so, this is efficient then though not instant of course.
I had to change permissions of the dspam binary to 4511. Is that what you had
to do? Otherwise, the logged in user couldn't run dspam.
Tried to find some doc on this (other than the c code), couldn't, so, asking. I
do almost every programming language, except C!
When using DSPAM backend with this tool, will the plugin send ONLY the
signature and not the entire message to dspam for retraining? Concerned about
very large emails.
I see back in November of last year, a thread about using client_limit in the
imap service (not imap-login) that would allow each imap process serve more
than
one connection. Sounded good, until I tried it!
When I did, unlike the OP of that thread, I got:
