If I create a new folder using a mail client (eg. kmail/OE), the maildirfolder file is created world-writable. I assume that this is a security risk and should be -rw---. eg. - create folder "Foo" in mail client ~ $ ls -la .maildir/.Foo/ total 20 drwx-- 5 robert users 4096 2009-01-21 1

[Dovecot] How do I move delete messages to Trash?

I've recently replaced courier-imap with dovecot - mainly for performance benefits. All of my users in the office use Outlook Express. It appears that dovecot has no facility to move deleted messages to a Trash folder - where they can be removed after a specified time with a cronjob. Other mail
