'doveadm' error

Hi, are there anywhere recommendations or 'best practices' for compiling dovecot-2.4.x at IBMs AIX7.3? With some own patches i can compile it, but one unexpected result is # /usr/local/bin/doveadm mailbox list -u /usr/local/bin/doveconf: invalid option -- u What's wrong? -- Mit freundlichen G
