as I saw how good it is to have messages compressed I used https://github.com/
George-NG/dovecot-maildir-compress script to compress whole mailboxes and thus
save more space on disk. Looks like lock won't worked well so now I can see

I do that with two Debian 10 servers - Postfix, PostfixAdmin, Dovecot, MariaDB,
Keepalived.
MariaDB in active/active mode, each node accesses the DB via localhost, Dovecot
with dsync replication, Keepalived for a virtual ip.
The MX record points to each node, DNS A/PTR records for the clients po

Why don't you simply use current dovecot packaged for EL7 as RPM? That
would avoid all the hassle you have.
The path in your filesystem hierarchy looks pretty wrong. It clearly

dovecot 2.3.11.3 fails to backup/sync my mailbox. The mailbox is
currently in mdbox format and is (mostly) lz4-compressed. See the trace
below (I've added newlines to the output):

Then please provide current log content. Not the old one with the MUA's
autoconfig using pipelining. It is important to see the failure track
