There's no such error string in Dovecot. Do you maybe mean "Unknown
parameter"?
Set auth_debug=yes and mail_debug=yes and show me what it logs when
you log in.
Now I get the following error:
Unknown settings: User quota
Also changes to the quota in the database are ignored (dovecot seems to
use the old values though)

Today I upgraded to version 1.1.16 of Dovecot (and Sieve), because I
wanted to use mailbox quotas. I tried using the instructions on

Not reliably without modifying source code. You could use dict quota
with all users in a domain sharing the same dict configuration, but if
the quota for some reason becomes out of sync,
Hello.
Is it possible to limit quota for the whole domain?

Hello.
I'm install latest dovecot 1.2 from hg repo. I have many messages in
maildir+ format. I migrate some folders to dbxo format using
instructions from http://wiki.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/dbox.
But in two folders i'm delete index.cache and index.log files, this is
my mistake.
Is that possible

If you have both of these enabled, Dovecot completely ignores
pass_attrs. So if you want auth binds, you need to disable
auth_bind_userdn setting.

what's going on (from
