A more accurate summary would be "Fedora is not yet switching

It is, but even though who knows. Ubuntu had been planning to
switch to the "bananager" since 2010 [1] till Mir appeared
in 2013.

There is strong language in the comment section. Some report,
the upgrade breaks bootloaders.

Hi,
This is for those who are interested in using low-end hardware.
Currently, I am coding a very lightweight GTK2 based alternative
frontend for simple-netaid-backend.
Current memory use is as follows:
1.8 MiB + 759.5 KiB = 2.5 MiB simple-netaid-light
6.5 MiB + 1.1 MiB = 7.6 MiB simple-ne

Hi,
I am using a GtkTreeView widget to use a listview. I need to
add/delete strings to/from the tree view but have not figured out how
this supposedly simple operation can be done.
In Lazarus Object Pascal, the above is as simple as it can be:
listview.Items.Add('the string I need to add');

Hi, I do not exactly know about freepascal details, but inside a gtk
listview model, there has to be something like an array or equivalent
object that represents the row, so you can have values for every column
in the listview model.
So I think that should be a constructor for such an object, som
Hi Aitor
I'm hoping you might be able to tell me how move passed this error? I have
devuan-keyring installed, it should build otherwise. I've already built a
bootable debian image with the script so I know it works.
Thanks

This happened to my son last summer. 2 or 3 weeks after that,

Hi,
Lazarus Object Pascal and Gtk+ 2 use completely different
implementations for their widgets. Lazarus close follows Delphi in
which components (widgets) are manipulated in code using an object
oriented coding while Gtk+ 2 apparently uses common structures to
access and modify a widget's propert
I made the mistake of upgrading to 10, and it breaks all broadcom BT. It
appears they simply chose not to support any Broadcom BT devices in Win 10.
I Dropped back to 7, created a .exe that simply returns to OS, and then
replaced c:\Windows\system32\GWX\GWX.exe and c\Windows\SysWOW64\GWX\GWX.exe

At this point, if they are so insistent on getting everyone over to win 10,
they've be better off to just declare it to be a "service pack" to Windows
7. It would be less toxic to their reputation than the underhanded shit
they are doing.now.
