Hi Miles, et. al. As an upstream developer/maintainer and downstream user of packages both locally built and packaged, I've come to the conclusion that, at least in the case of Debian, building from source is for "those who know what they are doing." On the one hand, given the wide array of prebu

I'm really not sure where to bring this up, but this seems like as good a place as any, as it's been looking for alternatives to Debian that has flagged this issue for me (other suggestions welcome). In looking at Devuan, and a few other non-systemd distros (Gentoo, FreeBSD, GUIXSD in particu
