That config is used in:

its latest commit is d502297008142645edf5c791af424ed321e5da84

When I put this system together ( a LONG time ago) nvidia was not
quite the pariah it has become in the open source community. So I'm
stuck with nouveau for drivers (its a long explanation but trust me
I'm STUCK there!).
Nouveau is really not as wonderful as it purports to be and I woul

Greetings
Basic question is: what happened?
I wanted to update a beowulf system.
So did the apt update, apt upgrade, apt dist-upgrade
after changing the references in /etc/apt/sources.list
from beowulf to chimaera.
After reboot - - - well - - - screen says devuan but
uname -r is 4.19.xx and not

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorica
Greetings
Following the official directions:
https://www.devuan.org/os/documentation/install-guides/chimaera/upgrade-to-chimaera
I get :
# apt update
Ign:1 http://deb.devuan.org/merged chimera InRelease
Ign:2 http://deb.devuan.org/merged chimera-security InRelease
Ign:3 http://deb.devuan.org/me
That's exactly how my /boot/efi directory looks, and everything works fine. I
would *not* mess with it! This boot stuff is rather complex, and a bigger
expert than me could probably say more.

I've had intermittent trouble with Devuan/EFI from day 1, when I got a new
MB/SSD and found out I had to use EFI for my hardware to work. Most recent was
a bad grub update (you may recall that was a topic of conversation here a few
months back. Latest (yesterday) was my MB battery dying, and

Greetings
Tried a migration from Debian Buster to Beowulf - - - nope.
Downloaded the DVD and got almost all the way through the install.
Got stuck when the install demands a place to install grub and this is
an EFI setup.
Please advise

Please run this in a directory where NVIDIA-Linux-x86-340.108 is a subdir.
You can make this happen by running
