Yup. That is exactly what I wanted to do... I hadn't made up my mind onto wether I wanted to force a redirect or stick with the original URL. But as you mentioned the SEO aspect is important and an added bonus would be that a canonical url would "feel" more structured. Thanks for the quick reply.
