My daughter is a senior IT teacher in a school cluster of 4 schools. She
creates her learning, curriculum and tutorials on Moodle, she is very
good at using it.
She had much similar idea and concept as you describe below.

Django is mostly for website development. If you can tell us a little bit
about your model and some plans, that would be great. I’d love to help
another Harvard student in their endeavors since many give up after
