I think getting a django project to work correctly on a shared hosting account might be tricky. If you're open to switching hosting I've tried PythonAnywhere, Heroku, and DigitalOcean and definitely recommend DigitalOcean. I think the majority of django developers recommend DigitalOcean too. Go
