Exactly.. That worked.. Thanks a ton..
I should save with the object returned from formContent.save(commit =
False)
new_property = formContent.save(commit=False)
..
new_property.save()

Is it possible to have variable tags / filters
{{ my_value | my_filter }}
where c['my_filter'] = 'formatDateTime'
formatDateTime is the actual filter function defined in templatetags
similarly
{{ my_tag my_filter }}
where c['my_tag'] = 'formatDateTime'
formatDateTime is the actual tag function
I right now, have written my templates in a generic fashion.. say the
page title/ headers come from view.. table column headings all come
from view.. and a single template is used for all views..
I have 2 options
a. Build the object as well as pass the set the variables for titles /
headings in
Awesome.. Worked.. Thanks !!

I am probably turning blind.. but I am still not able to figure out
why string "value" is being passed instead of value "value"
I have the following template
{% for value in list %}
{%
formatDateTime_5 value %}
a. Can template tags take arguments (not a string)
{% formatDateTime_5 value %}
where value is a variable
time data did not match format: data=value fmt=%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S+
b. Can template tags take objects as arguments.. tat is if the above
is possible..
