standart django admin date format is mm-dd-
when it changes to Spain it becomes dd/mm/

I had similar problem before with i like button but it was symfony
project
and there more then 10 redirect on index page...

You should check env path variables diff between shell and code
execution. Another way check this error path is there libxml2 or not.
it may be in usr/lib/python2.5. or something like that.
