I'm Jorge, from México. I'm the one who wrote the comment about
"barras" vs "diagonales". Here in México "barras" is generally
understood to mean | | (what you would call pipes in english).
While a / (slash) is called "diagonal", and the inverted one
"diagonales invertidas".
