I need a pointer or email message with a well commented gnuradio
companion script that uses the rtl_sdr radio receiver dongle and does
some of the processing to extract data from the bursty signals

hi community,
i wondered how the USRP is transmitting the signal even if i set the
transmitting gain to ZERO. and same as the case with receiving section.
what does setting gain in USRP sink will do ? and what is this gain
referred to? is it just to set the PGA's gain or something different.

block in the same flowgraph.

Hey i installed gnuradio 3.6.5, grextras and precog, gnuradio and grextras
are running just fine i even made a couple of basic examples and everything
is just as i expected.
However pre-cog seems to have a problem with hier block "radio-hier", when
i open the GRC simple_trx i get the following erro
Open radio_hier.grc and just generate the file.

Tried building GNUradio on Mint Olivia 15/64bit using the build-gnuradio script
from www.sbrac.org. I get the following error:
E: Unable to locate package python-gnuradio*
E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'python-gnuradio*'
Your Mint release must be at least Linux Mint 11 to proceed

I updated build-gnuradio this evening to bring in the support for hackrf for gr-osmosdr.
Tested on Fedora 14 and Ubuntu 12.04 only at this point, but seems to work (to the extent that it builds OK. I don't have hackrf hardware, so that's as far as I can go).

I am trying to install gr-bluetooth-0.4.
I got gr-bluetooth from http://gr-bluetooth.sourceforge.net/ , downloaded
the latest version,
./configure
sudo make
During installation i get the following make error.
cd . && /bin/bash

A quick note about the libhackrf users: Since it's still pretty recent
there are still changes to the USB protocol and firmware, so if you
build the version from master, you must also install an ARM
