Hi Rahul,
ah! With that information (wrong frequency for daughterboard) it all
makes sense. However, UHD will usually print a warning about not being
able to tune to the frequency.
Now, is it possible that you only copy and pasted a part of your
program's output? Otherwise, we'll have to look into
Hello Rahul,
Thank you for working through the setup with me. The XCVR2450 daughterboard
can only tune as low as 2.4GHz so is unable to receive broadcast FM, which
would use the Wide Band FM Receive block, at 98 MHz. You can try observing
WiFi signals at 2.437 MHz as a pretty reliable test signal.
Block Diagram image is ATTACHED.
But I am actually not confident whether the device is transmitting the
desired input and then receiving it as it is. What i want to tell i have
used GNU Radio Companion for constructing the FM receiver but shows
following error:

I get a steady stream of zero's on my terminal I believe - if that's what
your asking Martin. I'm not at my radio now. Thanks BTW.

Please answer to the list.
Alright, are you seeing zeros or nada after the FM receiver? See also
Nathan's msg.

Hello,
My system: WBX motherboard, B100, 2007 Macbook Pro 10.8.5 2.4 ghz core duo 4gb

I am new here. I have tried to build several FM receiver flow graphs - Taken
from the Ettus website, Ettus Youtube page and other sources too. I get the
same problem every time... no signal past

I won't laugh I promise! :)

Hi again,
I resolved my problem without using the Polyphase Resampler. It was a sample
rate issue which did not match the requirements of the audio card. Anyway,
thank you a lot for your help.

Hi,
I agree that it is a sample rate issue. The USRP sends too many data to the
computer which becomes overrun. As you said, I put a Polyphase Resampler
between the USRP and the WBFM receive blocks (
http://old.nabble.com/file/p31046181/fm_receiver.py fm_receiver.py ). But,

Not entirely sure how to d
Yes, you must be right, I must have made a mistake when I set up the flow
graph. How do you know the sample rate delivered by the UHD and how is the
Polyphase Resampler implemented into the flow graph ?

Hi Josh,
Yes, I have already though about that and I tried to match the sample and
sound card rates without success (but I might made a mistake). I have also
read on the Internet that it might come from the sound card which cannot
support all rates but I did not find anything more about that subj

These characters being printed means that you have mismatched sample
rates between your USRP device and sound card. Could this be the case?

The fm receiver demo will work when you use a TVRX daughterboard. You
can use a BasicRX daughterboard, but then you would have to use an
analogue filter to prevent aliasing and you would also need to read up
on bandpass sampling to figure out where your frequency of interest
would end up af

I would like to try stereo FM receiver with noise reduction technique,

Hi,
I have two computers one with Ubuntu 6.01 and the other with 7.1 . The
fm receiver example with gui, "usrp_wfm_rcv.py" works fine with
version 6.01 . However, when I try to run the same example in 7.1 I
cannot control the bars to adjust frequency, volume..etc with mouse
and after a little that
