hi,
i was wondering whether the usrp can be used as a "gps receiver". if so,
1) how can i achieve this?
2) any link you could provide for me to read?
3) what daughterboards should be used?
4) Can the usrp be used with OpenGTS (for example) for tracking (usrp as
a gps receiver)?
thanks in adv
hi,
as some of you already know, i have a usrp1 with 2 rfx1800 burned to
rfx900, two small antenas (13db, 60 watts) and a stock clock of 64mhz
which i'm planning to change for the external clocktamer. however,
before i do that, i'd like to know which is the best option for me.

hi,
i'm now getting the following download error when trying to install
gnuradio + uhd from the git repository (build-gnuradio):

Fetching and installing FPGA/Firmware images via wget...
hi,
is it possible that there is something going on with the gnuradio + uhd
git repository web site?
i'm trying to reinstall build-gnuradio and have been waiting at:
"checking for package libxi-dev" for more than 2 hours.

Hi,
I'm trying to use usrp_probe. I type "usrp_probe" and then I have to
choose a unit number and daughterboard.
i have 2 rfx 1800.
questions:
1) which unit number should i input? what is the unit number?
2 which daughterboard should i choose (RX A, RX B, TX A, TX b)? does it
matter that i have

Hi,
I wanted to try connecting to a radio station and listening to it. Is
there a command for this? ... such as usrp_fft.py (which is for other
use), etc?
I have 2rfx1800 and the 64mhz stock clock.
Thanks in advance,
Walter

Hi,
i'm using usrp1 with 2 RFX1800. I write:
"
wbarmak@Linux:~/clock/kal-v0.4.1/src$ ./kal -s 1800
kal: Scanning for DCS-1800 base stations.
error: usrp_source::tune
"
What is this error? Having 2 RFX1800, should it detect DCS-1800?
Thanks in advance,
Walter

Good morning,
I have a USRP1 with 2 RFX1800, Ubuntu 11.04, Gnuradio 3.3.0 and
openbts2.6Mamou, stock clock (64MHz).
when I write:
usrp_fft.py -f 1800M
a flat spectrum appears. which I think is correct, but when I write:
usrp_siggen.py -f 1.8G
the command prompts:
Press Enter to quit
