anybody knows why the book named "Software Defined Radio: with GNU Radio and
USRP" was never actually published ? i couldnt reach the author , the
publisher didnt give any clear answer and apparently folks at ettus do not
know the reason either . the only thing i know is that the author works for

can USRP be useful in a laser related R&D Project , in its vanilla form or
with a commercial/free additional board ? how about on Infrared ? its
appreciated if any of you guys can point me to possible existing works on
these two subjects based on USRP/GNU Radio

evaluating the possibility of start a Wimax fuzzing test bed project with
Gnu Radio/USRP . anybody knows if :
- there is a working 802.16d implementation based on Gnu Radio , that works
fine with USRP
- there are SDR based projects preferably based on GNU Radio , to fuzz Radio
systems : GSM
