[Discuss-gnuradio] Low cost, low power FPGA card

2007-07-18 Thread Kim Toms
Arrow has designed a new demonstration card for the Cyclone III FGPA from Altera. I attended one of the seminars yesterday. The board contains many peripherals, an EP3C25F324 FPGA, 1Gb SD Card, 96x64 pixel bit mapped OLED display, audio out, several LEDs, buttons, 32Mb CFI Parrallel Flash, 8Mby

I for a long time wanted to design a device that was an ethernet jack on one side and an RS-232 DB-25 on the other (long story). These devices exist, but they are large - I wanted one that I could screw onto the DB-25 avoiding the cost of the cabling. TI made a small board that included the whol

[Discuss-gnuradio] Coherent 100-600 Mhz reception

2006-10-29 Thread Kim Toms
I want to do a direction finding application in the 462 Mhz spectrum (FRS, GMRS), and need a coherent set of receivers to process the signals.  Preferably from 3 or four antennas.  The bandwidth is only 200 Khz for the whole band. My questions are:  Can I use 4 receivers with a USRP?What receiver s
