I'm writing a report on gnu radio and I had a question... I believe most
everyone uses Ubuntu compared to other Linux systems for GNU radios why
is this? Is it simply because Ubuntu is easier/more user friendly or does it
have to do with the way Ubuntu works?

After installing everything, I tried to run one of the python examples
through the terminal. Each of the examples played but threw the following

I currently am running Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope). I know 8.04 and older
versions have to install Boost (see

for Boost or is it already included?

I'm just starting out working on the GNU radio and I'm wondering is there any
particular version of linux that is better? Also, does anyone know if
there's a sprectum analyzer demo available? I haven't had any luck as of
yet.
