If your end goal is to install gr-baz, then you need to build it from
the source code.
It's old code and it assumes you have a UHD so you may need to install
UHD also to get it to build.
But to answer your question, you either need to build what you need from
source or upgrade ubuntu.
And
I was able to get around the swig errors in the embedded block, but still need
to do more testing to see if the modulated data is exactly what it should be.
It looks correct so far.
I replaced append with numpy.append and also used “import array” to copy the
final char_list to a byte array
