Hi Jay - enclosed is the second part of your flow chart - it was easy to
cut it out and paste in a separate flowgraph.
I fed the flowgraph with a wave file instead of using the output from
the first part.
The message debug works.

first of all: that's GNU Radio 3.7. Time to upgrade, really! No excuse. You're
building a
new something, and you're starting with something that has been legacy for
years now.
ZMQ and networking blocks have seen many improvements, so, you're really
ill-advised to
stick with GNU Radio 3.
I'm using 3.8.2 installed from PPA /Ubuntu 20.04 It runs at the
first try.
my libgnuradio-runtime.so.3.8.2 is here (found with locate
libgnuradio-runtime.so.3.8.2):

I just installed Gnuradio 3.8 on my Ubuntu 20.10.
This is the error message I get when trying to start a am receiver with
Pluto SDR:
ImportError: libgnuradio-runtime.so.3.8.2: cannot open shared object file:
No such file or directory
I compiled gnuradio from source following these instructions (pa
