[Discuss-gnuradio] DTV reception with the FLEX400 board

2007-08-21 Thread Brent M. Ledvina
Hi, I have used the gr-atsc receiver and the TVRX to prove to track and decode DTV/HDTV signals. I am trying to do the same thing with the RFX400 board, although I am running into trouble. There is an available signal at 491 MHz, which works fine when I record data with the TVRX, but the

[Discuss-gnuradio] recording data from 2 USRP daughterboards simultaneously

Hi, I am trying to record I/Q data from two daughterboards (currently a TVRX and a RFX400) on one USRP simultaneously. I have no trouble recording data from either of these daughterboards independently, but when I try to record data simultaneously, I receive the following error: -

[Discuss-gnuradio] Artifacts from the USRP Digitizer

To anyone using the following: I'm using the USRP with a Microtune UHF band tuner. What I see is that there is a significant artifact at 512 MHz, and a few more, but another 'clear' artifact at 640 Mhz. I believe these to be induced by the digitzing clock of 64 MHz. However, since I avoid 'h

[Discuss-gnuradio] My SRP - Problem deciding on the RF Front End design.. need help.

2007-08-21 Thread Prasanna Rao
Hello everyone, I am planning to implement a small software-defined radio with a bandwidth of say 50-300 MHz at first. The system should be able to receive AM, FM, PM signals over the mentioned RF spectrum with upto 10MHZ baseband information. This would require an IF of at least around 11-12MHz.
