[Discuss-gnuradio] Eric's on vacation

2007-06-12 Thread Eric Blossom
I wanted to let you all know that I'm taking some time off, and will be absent from the list (and the rest of the email world) for a while. In the meanwhile, please carry on as usual ;) Between Johnathan, Matt and the rest of the usual suspects, I'm sure everything will work out fine. Johnathan

[Discuss-gnuradio] Power PC running Linux

2007-06-12 Thread Robert McGwier
If anyone has gnuradio running on a Power PC under Linux (FC6 in particular), could you drop me a private email with any details you might care to provide on getting it to run? It compiles just fine but blows up in make check and other areas. Thanks Bob

I've had some exposure with astronomical cameras. I think what you need is a system optimized for low noise, pretty much at the expense of everything else. For those who have not seen seen this some techniques that are common in low noise cameras. Remember these guys are literally counting small

[Discuss-gnuradio] Query: using the USRP in optical interferometry

2007-06-12 Thread Richard
Dear All, I've just joined this list, and I'm trying to find out whether a USRP could be used/modified in an unusual way. What we're trying to do is build an interface for a HAWAII Focal-Plane Array (basically, a 1 Mpixel CCD that is sensitive to the far Infrared, and works in Liquid Nitroge

[Discuss-gnuradio] attribute/control stream question

[Discuss-gnuradio] The correct way to receive pulses?

2007-06-12 Thread seph 004
My question is about the correct setup to receive pulses. I've managed to get my system to transmit 1 second pulses at 16 ms intervals. I wanted to test how the usrp receives these pulses again by routing the output of the basic TX board, to the input of the basic RX board. This seems to work for

[Discuss-gnuradio] GNU Radio / USRP building-linking

2007-06-12 Thread Jeffrey Karrels
Hello all. I am modifying a block (GSSM) and wish to include USRP code into it. I think I am having linking problems and am wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for including the USRP libs into the build process. I have a block in which I have: #include ... usrp_standard_
